I've suffered malaria and respawning roadblocks in Far Cry 2 great setting - central Africabecame weirded out by the insane antihero Vas in FC3 in the Pacific islands, and really enjoyed the Himalayan adventure of FC4.

But the writing, the script, the over-hammy acting in the cutscenes, those interminable boss fights - that's where it all fell down. It seemed rushed, ill thought-out. Maybe I'm getting too old for these games and I should take up golf.
But at least I'll have memories of picking off Cultists from a mile away with my silenced semi-automatic SA sniper rifle. One the worst "big production" games I have ever played. The storyline makes no sense, the environment makes no sense, the AI far cry 5 not downloading ps4 no sense, the equipment makes no sense. What happened to this franchise? One hundred hours logged and one or two trophies away from getting my first Platinum Trophy. Yeah, it's undeniably good. At times, I felt chilled at how relevant story elements were.
